A letter from the owner

My journey is the reason Gazelle works differently.

I know what it feels like to start again in another country, learn a new system and place trust in people you have only just met. That experience sits behind the way I advise every international buyer today.

The two places behind the story

From Koblenz to Hurghada

The story moves between two very different places: the structured security of Germany and the light, openness and possibility Tabitha found on Egypt's Red Sea coast.

From Personal Experience to Buyer-First Advice

These are examples of the Red Sea communities Gazelle compares for international buyers. They are not presented as personal photographs; they show the market in which Tabitha's professional and personal journey developed.

A Secure Career in Germany

If someone had told me a few years ago that I would one day build my own real estate company on the Red Sea, I probably would not have believed them.

I was living in Koblenz, Germany. I had completed vocational training as a certified real estate professional through the IHK system and started my career with the German Federal Agency for Real Estate. It was the kind of path many people work toward: a respected profession, a secure government position, financial stability and a clearly defined future.

Everything looked right from the outside. Yet I was only in my early twenties and already felt as though my life had been planned until retirement. Work during the week, shopping on Saturday, Sunday preparing for Monday and a few weeks of holiday before returning to the same routine.

Why I Chose a Different Path

There is nothing wrong with a predictable life when it makes someone happy. For me, however, it felt as though I had stopped living and started functioning. Germany gave me an excellent education, discipline and a professional foundation that still shapes the way I work. I will always be grateful for that.

But I was no longer searching for comfort. I was searching for growth. I wanted to discover different cultures, meet people with different perspectives and find out who I could become outside the environment I had always known.

There was another reason that mattered just as much. My mother had spent her life working hard and putting everyone else first. I wanted her to experience more than simply reaching retirement. I wanted sunshine instead of grey winters, warmth instead of cold mornings and a quality of life that could be enjoyed every day. That dream eventually brought us to Egypt.

What Starting Over in Egypt Taught Me

Moving to Hurghada was the biggest and most life-changing decision I had made. Leaving Germany did not simply mean changing countries. It meant leaving friends, language, culture and routine. Suddenly, many things I thought I knew no longer applied.

I still remember standing in an Egyptian supermarket looking at products I had never seen before. I could not read most labels and did not know which milk, yoghurt or bread would feel familiar. It sounds like a small moment, but moments like that explain what it means to become a foreigner.

Understanding a new culture, different traditions and a different way of thinking takes time. Small everyday tasks become challenges. Slowly, you realise that you are not only building a new life; you are rebuilding yourself. Those experiences taught me patience, empathy and what it feels like to make life-changing decisions in a country that does not yet feel like home.

Learning the Red Sea Property Market

Over the following years, I worked with respected real estate companies in Hurghada, helping international buyers find homes and investments along the Red Sea. I built sales teams, advised clients from different countries and gained practical insight into the local property market.

I loved the work, but I also noticed a problem. Buyers abroad often do not know the legal system, developers, payment plans or local procedures. They do not know which questions to ask, whom to trust or how to compare projects objectively. Too often, clients were rushed, shown only one project or treated as a commission rather than a person making one of the largest decisions of their life.

Having once been the newcomer myself, I understood that uncertainty completely. I knew how valuable honest guidance could be.

Why I Founded Gazelle Properties

Somewhere along my journey, I realised that clients do not need another salesperson. They need someone who listens before speaking, explains instead of persuading, compares instead of pushing and gives honest advice even when another project is the better fit.

People rarely buy property only because of square metres or a floor plan. They may be searching for freedom, security, retirement in the sun, an investment in the future or simply a place where they can slow down and breathe. That belief became the foundation of Gazelle Properties.

I wanted to build the company I wished every international buyer could find: a company where clients receive time instead of pressure, developers and projects are compared openly and relationships matter more than quick commissions.

The Mission Today

My German real estate background continues to influence the way we work: clear communication, reliable processes, professional standards and attention to detail. Combined with years of local experience and trusted relationships along the Red Sea, it allows Gazelle Properties to bridge two worlds for international buyers.

Today, Gazelle Properties is about more than buying and selling. For many clients, a property in Egypt is the start of a new chapter. Some dream of retirement in the sun. Some want a holiday home. Others are building an investment portfolio or searching for a different way of life.

Behind every property is a person. Behind every decision is a story. My own journey taught me that some of life’s greatest opportunities begin with the courage to leave what feels comfortable behind.

My mission is simple: to help people navigate the Red Sea property market with confidence, honesty and peace of mind, and to remain someone they can trust before, during and long after the purchase.
